Since being honorably discharged from the Navy for 5 years of service Michael Brown has written, directed, and edited dozens of commercials, music videos, and documentaries. As a partner and senior producer at Digital Caviar Mike has worked on features including Crazy Lake, Killroy Was Here, Draupadi Unleashed and Random Tropical Paradise.
We hear a unique perspective from Mike, not only as a UPM himself, but as a partner at a production company. Mike touches on some of the not so glamous parts of filmmaking, such as budgets and insurance, while also enlighting us on how filmmaking is a craft we all need to continue to work on. He also talks Draupadi Unleased, a feature film set to relase latere this year that is a period piece shot entirely in centeral Florida.
